I don't like coffee. My husband finds this interesting because every morning I mix up an Ice Cappuccino before sitting down at the computer. That's right, hate coffee but love Ice Cappuccinos. I love recording silly little facts like these in my albums for my children's children to read and learn a bit of my quirky side. I wish I had information like that on my grandparents and great grandparents. The small, everyday things that don't always get passed on through stories. This is one of the reasons I scrapbook. To tell our family story, to remember good (and some not so good) times, to preserve memories and share it with the future generations. So they can have a glimpse into what our lives were like.

A few years ago at a crop, when digital scrapbooking was first showing up in magazine, I remember talking with my paper scrapping friends saying I would NEVER digital scrapbook, it was just too, well too....digital. Scrapbooks needed to be done with paper and adhesives and printed photos. Then I was at a crop and someone showed me a printed digital page, wow it looked wonderful! That moment planted the digital seed in my head and it grew from there.  Fast forward a year and I received a copy of Memory Mixer for Christmas, that turned into getting Photoshop Elements and then I decided to try my hand at designing and eventually upgraded to the full Photoshop CS3 version.Yup, I had to eat some humble pie and I am so glad I did! Digital scrapbooking is wonderful! No mess, no pulling out supplies and then putting them away, no cleaning up tiny bits of paper that have fallen to the floor. I simply turn the computer on to start and off when I am done. Did I mention no mess!

Most week days, while my kids are in school, you will find me in front of the computer working on designs, answering emails, loading products into stores, chatting with my Creative Team and doing everything else required to run a design business. I find that I now spend more time designing and less time creating pages. When I want to do quick albums I often turn to Memory Mixer or My Memories Suite because it is so quick and easy. Most days I use either my Quickmixes/Templates or Page Builders. They are huge time savers and allow me to create my pages quickly.

Why do I do what I do? I enjoy helping others get their photos off their hard drives and into their family albums. My goal is to make it easier for you to complete your albums, to create kits and products that enable you to create fast, fabulous pages. I want you to realize that scrapbooking does not have to be overwhelming. I also enjoy creating hard to find themes and will often take suggestions for kit themes, if you have one feel free to email me and I will add it to the list. I have found that trying to force my creativity to create kits I am not excited about isn't good for anyone so every once and awhile when the mood hits I check the list and create from it. I also enjoy the process of creating exactly what I want in a kit (okay, some days when the mojo isn't flowing it isn't all that fun). I also appreciate that I can work from home and take time off as needed to help the kids, attend school events, and all that fun stuff.
